While it is tempting to stay in and luxuriate in all the facilities on offer at Venus Bay Getaways, the South Gippsland region has so many things to see and do. As you approach Venus Bay, you will already see the beauty of the region in the rolling green hills, famed for its dairy industry.

It is a landscape that changes from the Strzelecki Ranges in the north, to the wild waters and rugged coastline of Wilsons Promontory in the south. And in between are beautiful coastal hamlets like Venus Bay, which lies of a narrow strip of land with Bass Strait on one side and the sheltered waters of Anderson Inlet on the other.

This central location means that the many wonders of the region are in easy reach - Wilsons Promontory National Park is only 40 minutes away and Phillip Island its famous penquins are a must see. Cape Liptrap Coastal Park has many walking tracks and the calm waters of Anderson Inlet are home to windsurfers, swimmers and many water birds.
